VIEROL at Automechanika

The global specialists from VEMO for electronic components and VAICO for engine and transmission repair solutions presented a range of product highlights and innovations at this year’s Automechanika in Frankfurt from 13 to 17 September.

VIEROL’s ambition to provide aftermarket customers with a comprehensive range of perfectly tailored product solutions was manifested not only at Automechanika in the cross-brand “EXPERT KITS+” section. In addition to the product competence of the quality brands VEMO, VAICO and ACKOJA, VIEROL is also innovative in the spare parts business when it comes to service. This does not only mean the practical repair solutions that make it easier for workshops to identify and procure parts and save storage resources. It also includes useful online tools, for example the new online portal VIEROL-SHOP, which was launched just in time for Automechanika, or the business booster “STOCK-CONNECTOR”.

Technical discussions at eye level

With a modern and open stand concept, VIEROL’s main focus at this year’s Automechanika was on personal discussions, product presentations and interaction. On the 300 m² exhibition area, customers and interested trade fair visitors found ideal conditions for personal exchange and technical discussions. At product islands, the parts experts from VIEROL presented highlights of the VEMO, VAICO and ACKOJA ranges. In addition, the innovations around the trend mobility caravan and the category “GREEN MOBILITY SOLUTIONS” with product solutions for the drive technologies for electric and hybrid vehicles were shown.

Trade fair highlight products and innovations

This year, the parts experts from VIEROL focused on some particularly noteworthy products at the exhibition stand. One of them is the VAICO intake manifold module, which has been further developed in the independent parts market to match the OE solution for VW applications, among others. The specialists at VIEROL’s own ACADEMY for product development have developed a customised complete solution consisting of an intake manifold module including an actuator for aftersales by connecting with workshops and practitioners. The simplest and most time-saving replacement of the intake manifold module was decisive in obtaining the EXPERT KITS+ seal. In contrast to intake manifolds from the free market, the module is pre-assembled with the appropriate servomotor for the specific brand or model. This saves the workshop valuable time and reduces the risk of misdiagnosis due to the installation of incompatible servomotors.

As a further highlight and good example of the topicality of the product ranges, the automotive experts presented new products under the heading “GREEN MOBILITY SOLUTIONS”. In particular, application-specific spare parts of the components charging technology, thermal management and sensor technology for popular vehicle series such as Tesla Model 3 or VW ID3/4 were the “eye-catchers” at the VIEROL stand in Frankfurt.

In addition, the family-run company presented innovative digital services with the “STOCK-CONNECTOR” for the virtual connection of merchandise management, assortments and availabilities as well as the completely newly developed VIEROL-SHOP. With the self-developed and customer-oriented purchasing platform, the Oldenburg-based family business is setting another important course for the consistently pursued digital path. The relaunch of the parts portal has been accompanied by a variety of new features as well as improvements in usability. Innovative functionalities especially for the worldwide trade customers create an absolute added value for buyers and product managers to analyse assortments, evaluate gaps, compare articles, determine assortments from market and approval figures and determine potentials down to article level.

Back in Frankfurt with team spirit and a good mood

Automechanika clearly showed how much people matter, even in an increasingly digital world, and that there is no substitute for personal contact at trade fairs. The high internationality of the visitors offered the perfect platform for the VIEROL team to enter into intensive exchange with new and existing contacts. After five exciting and intensive days, the VIEROL team has grown even closer together and is already looking forward to the next Automechanika.
